Edith Gonzalez, Carla Estrada and Lorena Tassinari in the week in New York Mexican

The actress Edith Gonzalez is now of TV Azteca talent, producer Carla Estrada , and Mexican singer, Lorena Tassinari met in the week 'Uncovering Mexico' which pays tribute to Mexican culture and tradition after 200 years of 100 years of independence and revolution.

"I am very happy to be here in New York and especially for the launch of a book such as 'Uncovering Mexico', showing different views and photographs of which is Mexico today," said Edith.

For its part Carla Estrada who came with her son, Carlos Eduardo not only participated in the week Revealing Mexico but announced that it will be on holiday until January.

"I am very happy to come and support all these people that makes a great effort to make things right. I came with my son who is studying film in Los Angeles and since we are sharing right now because this year is my year on vacation and I be resting for another two months and in January I'll be working, "he reveals.

Lorena Tassinari was in charge of one of the shows, while the photographer John Mack exhibited his photographs in the book by writer Susan Steines of the same name.

The chef Martha Ortiz and Mexican soccer team captain for the Red Bulls, Rafa Marquez and Peruvian singer living in Mexico, Tania Libertad also made their contribution to the week held at the Rockefeller Center.

Salma Hayek, Placido Domingo, Gabriel Abaroa and Carlos Slim among other well-known names, are part of the founding members of this cause that promotes a positive image of Mexico.
