PETA wants to pay the rehab Lindsay Lohan

Apparently the fate of Lindsay Lohan is not the only focus of the tabloids. Yesterday, in fact, the actress received an unexpected and unusual offer of help, by one of the largest animal welfare organizations in the world.

Following the admission of Lohan about her financial difficulties, there comes a concrete proposal by PETA: the organization for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. The animal rights activists have offered to pay the bill for three months of rehab that the troubled star of "Mean Girls" has yet to serve as punishment for his drug abuse.

A spokesman for the organization has, in fact, declared that this promise to pay the bill of fifty thousand dollars at the Betty Ford Clinic in California, but to a particular condition: Lindsay has become a vegetarian. In a statement addressed directly to the star says:

We understand you're going through economic difficulties, so we write to make you an offer that we very much hope you consider. PETA will help you pay your account from fifty dollars to treat drug addiction, if you riusciarai to get rid of a substance even more toxic: the meat.

Actually, the proposal is still more complex. The organization will pay twenty thousand U.S. dollars if Lindsay will give up meat, ten thousand more if they take the vegan diet for the rest of the period of rehab, and ten thousand more if it will keep for at least a year. Clearly, at this point, that rather than offer absolutely selfless, PETA has more than just another thought of a return of image. We'll see at this point what the response of Lindsay.
